I know what you mean, Mary Anne. I have been so busy with Facebook, I have not logged into Multiply in days. I logged on last night, and it said there were 101 updates. LOL
(okay, the job helped keep me away, but I was not here as much before the job started either)

Yeah... the Y! thing... it's actually annoying a little. Getting all them updates about who buzzed what up & who made friends with whom & all that stuff... If it was UNDER my "Top Stories"... I would not be so bothered. But since it's Yahoo... I ain't going to complain... It's just me. LOL!! :)
I won't be "chasing" friends there. Just those whom I know really well... LIKE YOU!! & When I know they are already signed up. :o)
One problem I have with it is that the avatars are smaller than what was on 360... because of it... I will actually keep 360 account... until they tell us they are deleting it.

I'm with Carrie on this one, I set up my profile on there a while ago... I don't see anywhere to blog, everything that's posted shows up on other people's updates, and by that I mean EVERYTHING, whether you've commented on someone else's page, or if some complete stranger's posted on one of your friend's pages.... that ain't for me!
Hmm, maybe I will have to look. I think maybe I clicked on something to ignore their new stuff...

I didn't even click on the link until now. THAT'S the "new profile"? I've seen that for weeks... it didn't even click (as in, my braynz). I just thought it was an info page on any individual. Or something. You know what, I think I need an ibuprofen.

K, I learned something about it. all it does (in the new mail) is put yer stupid profile and updates on the top page, above where the news appears. Big schmeal.

I did not like it either when I first started. I totally HATED the stupid apps, but I have opened a couple and am starting to like some.
I think stupid is my word of the day. *giggles*
Personally, I don't like Facebook because we can't personalize it. I much prefer Multiply for that and for the blogging. However, I do like some of the apps on FB, so I enjoy playing there. I am just sad that it seems most have even jumped ship from here to go there...so I still find myself in two places at once. *sigh*
I would much prefer being able to personalize as well, and I am noticing a lot of stuff gets "lost" there. If it were not for emails (a million a day, it seems) I would not know what people are saying to me half the time.
360 is out of my life. Facebook is cute, but Multiply now is where I belong.........
However your excitement has me a bit curious........
FB and Multiply have different functions, that's for sure. I can't imagine "blogging" at FB. Actually, at first I hated FB... but now I really like it because I'm connecting with so many old friends and a lot of my distant family members. The apps can be fun if you pick and choose the ones that appeal to you (some actually dontate money to charity too). I won't give up my multiply page though... because someday I may want to blog again. Plus I like to read all your blogs!!!
Yahoo... I can't imagine being sucked back into that now.

Exactly! After Yahoo! went on and on last year about "finally" releasing a new profile to replace 360 and everything else, they come out with this "cheap Facebook". It's "like wow."

I do the same thing.
When I first really started back on Facebook, I had over 100 requests. After trying in vain for days to catch up, and seeing I was making no headway, I just hit "ignore all" at the upper right hand corner of the request box. Ahhhh! The feeling of relief- sooo satisfying.
